Procurement Diagnostic

Working with stakeholders to define a Strategic Plan through the evaluation of current performance

Overview

K Consulting create the clear and concise management information required to drive key decision making in procurement. We complete a procurement diagnostic that analyses and presents existing spend information, current initiatives and business objectives in a structured manner.

Working with key stakeholders, at this stage, ensures that expectations are aligned with the strategic objectives of the organisation. The output of the diagnostic process is a detailed report that assesses current procurement performance, and defines a Strategic Procurement Plan.

This includes an accurate and substantiated estimate of potential savings based on benchmarked data, the appropriate levers and approaches to be adopted, the expected business benefits, as well as the risks and constraints. In addition, we will usually create a management tool that can be used for future spend analysis exercises. As we are generally retained by our clients to deliver the savings identified, the results that we establish can be achieved are always realistic, however ambitious they may look initially. Depending on the complexity of the circumstance, the Strategic Plan is usually produced in 3-6 weeks.
