Overview

K Consulting have many years of experience in operations environments. With a strong engineering background (mostly with Post-Graduate level qualifications), our team has a proven methodology for assessing information, analysing data and spending time in the oeprational environment itself to create an accurate picture of the current state and the resulting opportunities for the future. Working in both manufacturing and service-based environments, our Operations Diagnostic is typically a six week process covering all aspects of the operational environment.

We adopt a collaborative and inclusive approach with your personnel to analyse and map your current processes to identify areas for improvement prior to implemenation. This approach combined with our expertise, and your people’s knowledge, provides an excellent platform for delivering immediate operational improvements that can be continously developed over time.

Communication to the business on the process & objectives
Data collection/extract from ERP on production activities
Focus interviews with senior/middle management and operational staff

Detailed statistical analysis on cycle time, WIP, equipment/process performance
Evaluation of scheduling principles, information systems, KPIs and quality management

Development of a set of workstreams into an overall Lean Transformation programme
Validation of approach with stakeholders and approval of the plan for implementation phase
